Getting Started

Trusted Sender Score provides free cyber email and domain security verification. The process is straightforward — enter a host domain and receive an immediate trust assessment. If you have just registered your domain, allow up to 24 hours for it to propagate before checking.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Home page. Locate the domain lookup field on the Trusted Sender Score homepage.
  2. Enter a host domain. Type the domain you wish to verify into the input field. Use the full host domain (for example, example.com).
  3. Submit the lookup. The service will evaluate the domain against its scoring metrics and return a trusted sender score.
  4. Review the results. Examine the score and any accompanying details to understand the domain's email security posture.
  5. Take action if needed. If a domain scores poorly, consider implementing DMARC, SPF, and DKIM protections. The Ultimate DMARC Project Guide and Anti-Spoof Conformance Fact Sheets offer detailed guidance.

Interpreting Verification Results

Trusted Sender Score uses a set of scoring functions to evaluate domain trust. Results reflect factors such as email authentication configuration, domain reputation signals, and anti-spoofing measures.

  • High score: The domain has strong email security controls in place and is less likely to be used for spoofing or phishing.
  • Moderate score: Some protections are present, but gaps may exist. Review DMARC, SPF, and DKIM settings.
  • Low score: The domain lacks adequate email authentication. Immediate attention is recommended to prevent abuse.

Bulk Domain Checking

Trusted Sender Score also supports uploading multiple domains for batch verification. This is useful for organizations managing numerous domains or conducting security audits across a portfolio.

Use the multiple-domain trust checker upload feature available on the homepage to process several domains at once.

Try Trusted Sender Network
